Simple English Wikiquote now has 400 articles with the creation of Thomas Fuller (physician) by Pmlinediter.

Simple English Wikiquote now has 300 articles with the creation of Ray Comfort by American Eagle. Wikiquote is still making good updates, changes and improvements, including a Christmas Main Page, many new templates and the foundation of The Wikiquote News!

Simple English Wikiquote now has 200 articles with the creation of Roberto Clemente by RyanCross. Wikiquote is also making many other changes and improvements, including creating a Quote of the Day that appears on the Main Page for each day of the year!

The discussion at meta:Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Simple English Wikiquote has been closed as "keep". This means that Simple English Wikiquote will not be closed and that the project will continue. -- RyanCross (talk) 06:47, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
