This template is odd. It seems like a topic navigation template, but it isn't used on any of the linked pages except List of films. There's no actual thread between all the articles, except for the fact that they're all "List of..." pages. There's also the matter of strange cross-namespace redirects; the Proverbs link goes to Category:Proverbs via a redirect, while the template also points directly at Category:Categories (which is not a helpful category for the average reader).
The closest thing to this template on the English Wikiquote is en:Template:Media lists, which is still fairly different from this one (those are all closely related; People, Proverbs, Themes, and Films, not so much). EVula // talk // ☯ // 16:21, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
