Usage

{{ B |BIRTH DATE| BIRTH DATE YEAR | name=BIRTH NAME | place=BIRTH PLACE | sort = LAST NAME, FIRST NAME }}

• BIRTH DATE = Day of birth, example May 13.
• BIRTH DATE YEAR = Year of birth, example 1948.
• name = (If name was different at birth) Birth name. If nothing used, it is blank.
• place = Where born, if known. If nothing used, it is blank.
• sort = how to be sorted in categories

Example:

{{B|May 13|1948}}

It will look like this:

born May 13, 1948

Example2:

{{B|May 13|1948|name=John Smith|place=Rome|sort=Smith, John}}

It will look like this:

born John Smith, May 13, 1948 in Rome

This template was created on August 20, 2008 to easily add the birth of people to pages. This template will also add automatically to the right birth categories. If the option " |many=1 " is added, the template will use only the birth year. Example:

{{BD|many=1|1999}}    = born 1999
