RfA closed as successful. –Juliancolton | Talk 17:57, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am interested in being an administrator for the purpose of assisting with janitorial issues. I am aware I have made few edits here, but I am an active administrator at both commons and en.Wikipedia, as well as a member of the foundations OTRS team. Because of this, I feel I can be trusted with the extra buttons and can assist Simple Wikiquote's small group of administrators. Tiptoety (talk) 00:30, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Support I remember Tiptoety as a very trusted editor, even from over a year ago. No problems here, could help out. — RyanCross (talk) 06:20, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
Oppose, what would they use it for? No assertion of activity throughout their contributions.Blurpeace (talk) 02:10, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]- Tiptoety said he would use it for janitorial work. –Juliancolton | Talk 02:10, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Would probably be a net positive for the project, though I still hold reservations. If they'd like to prove that they'd use the tools, then they should be actively making edits to the project. Blurpeace (talk) 02:18, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, although Tiptoety would be a good admin, he hasn't edited here, and this wiki has 12 admins, which include 3 active users at other simple projects. I don't think that this project needs another inactive admin. Griffinofwales (talk) 17:39, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I never said I would be inactive. I am willing to offer my services here as an administrator, and understand that means actually using the tools. Tiptoety (talk) 23:07, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comments
- I'll be around to close this RfA tomorrow evening. –Juliancolton | Talk 19:38, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Isn't this RfA due to be closed two days from today, not tomorrow? In any case, I'll be around and available to close the RFA then as well. Tempodivalse [talk] 20:15, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Well, October 1 UTC starts in a few hours, so October 2 UTC would be in a little over 1 day. –Juliancolton | Talk 20:16, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- And just as a side note, I am in no rush. :-) Tiptoety (talk) 21:18, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Technically, the full week would be up just after midnight on October 3rd UTC. Tempodivalse [talk] 22:14, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
