Hi, Tempodivalse, I hope that you are well this evening. I noticed that you were around blocking open proxies, and, if you haven’t already, you may wish to check admin zzuuzz’s block log on the English Wikipedia. IPs can change from being an open proxy to not being one within 1 year or less. So why indef? --Bsadowski1 (talk) 03:00, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

It's my understanding that OPs rarely switch off. Given the vast number of these proxies that have been blocked here, it seems like an unnecessary effort to keep reblocking them year after year.
