Very good pages are the highest status of pages at Simple English Wikiquote. In order to become a very good page, there are certain criteria that the page must meet. These criteria can be found at Wikiquote:Requirements for very good pages.

This page is to discuss pages to decide whether they meet the VGP criteria. When an page is posted here for discussion, it should have the {{pvgood}} tag placed on it. This will place the page in Category:Proposed very good pages.

Pages which are accepted by the community as very good pages have their {{pvgood}} tag replaced with {{vgood}}. They are also listed on Wikiquote:Very good pages and are placed in Category:Very good pages.

The Fellowship of the Ring

Sufficiently long, lead sourced and simple. Pmlineditor  11:44, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

John Quincy Adams

One of our best pages in my opinion. Written a while ago by PeterSymonds. –Juliancolton | Talk 01:27, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ted Williams

Long enough, 9 refs used in 20+ places, lead cited. Meets our criteria. PmlineditorTalk 11:31, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Macbeth

Lead a bit short, elsewhere ok. I'd like ideas to improve it. PmlineditorTalk 11:44, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
