Thanks! Revert any changes which are wrong, I've yet to get used to this place. --Gwib 23:14, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Welcome to Simple English Wikiquote! Coppertwig 23:15, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Coppytwig! *steals babel box* --Gwib 23:16, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
:P. Nuff' said. And your welcome. :) -- RyanCross (talk) 23:19, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
(another edit conflict! Nice to see so much happening here.) You're doing fine. I don't see anything to revert. We don't really have a manual of style yet. Should quotes be in quotation marks, or not? I don't know. Coppertwig 23:21, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Quotation marks

In reply to Coppertwig above, I'd put them in quotation marks. It looks nice and separates them from the text. I hope I'll get things right over here though, keep on forgetting those little :w: at the beginning of links. --Gwib 23:26, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ohai

Ohai, there! I see you have also got an account here :) Cheers, Razorflame 23:32, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just started about 5 minutes ago, with less than 10 edits so far :P. My project ATM is to update the Babel Boxes. --Gwib 23:33, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I already created a few babel boxes :). Cheers, Razorflame 23:35, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Want to help me update WQ:BABEL? I'll take the {{inuse}} tag off. --Gwib 23:36, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the Babel boxes!! Coppertwig 23:52, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's alright, I'm almost done. Then I'll go get rid of all the red links :). --Gwib 23:53, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

<-- Wow you've been active. I hope that's always the same! :D -- RyanCross (talk) 00:23, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I looove babel boxes. Will probably update all the templates here before moving onto articles. --Gwib -(talk)- 00:24, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
By the way, look at the new thread at Wikiquote:Simple talk. ;) -- RyanCross (talk) 01:44, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Looked and replied. What I want desperately is a button which inserts a link to Simple. A default [[w: .... ]] rather than just [[ ... ]]. --Gwib -(talk)- 01:48, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

O_o

O_o. Oh, your redesign is finished on Simple Wikipedia now. :) -- RyanCross (talk) 12:39, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Woot. Will go check it out. Also might transfer here for a while, SEWP getting tedious. --Gwib -(talk)- 13:51, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
OMG <3 it. Tabs still odd colour but I DON'T CARE. --Gwib -(talk)- 13:52, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Funny edit summary

I saw that funny edit summary you did: [1]. It took me a minute or two to think of how you did it. Coppertwig 23:08, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey! :) -- RyanCross (talk) 23:18, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

RyanCross' RfA thanks

Gwib, I would like to thank you for your support in my requests for adminship. It was successful having Coppertwig closing my RfA with 8 Supports, and 0 Opposes as the total outcome, and I am now a Wikiquote administrator. I must say, I am very happy and satisfied to help the Wikiquote community in a brand new way, and that I know the community trusts me with the administrative tools. If there's something I've realized during my RFA process this last week, it's that adminship is primarily about trust. Knowing the the overall community trusts me is very heartfelt, and knowing that the community believes I will do well, is very, very good feeling. When I first arrived at Simple English Wikiquote, I saw that the wiki was still growing, so I decided to start contributing to a nice wiki like Simple English Wikiquote. I worked on a lot of wikifying, copyediting, article creation, simplifying quotes, and much more things that I believe have helped improve the quality of the Simple English Wikiquote for all of the readers who come to learn. Every edit we make makes a difference, and making that difference has improved the knowledge of numerous people in our world, which makes editing all the fun. I did my best to work on articles and some general maintenance around here, and I soon realized that more administrators were needed in the most part, so I decided to try to become an administrator here when American Eagle, kindly offered to nominate me for adminship. I was thoroughly surprised how my RfA went, and I am very thankful that I can partake the duties as an administrator, and I will do my very best to help the Simple English Wikiquote community. Please, if you have any comments or complaints about my actions as an administrator, leave a note on my talk page, and I will respond as swiftly as I possibly can. If you need help from an administrator like me, be my guest! You know where to ask (*wink, wink*). ;) I'm sure I could be of assistance. I would love to help you! :)

Many thanks,
