Result is "successful". EVula is now an administrator. Congratulations. ☺Coppertwig(talk) 02:01, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello everyone. I've been involved on this Wikiquote for a little while now, and I'm starting to need the additional tools. I started out doing lots of work to just articles, including interwiki work here and there. I also created {{other wikis}} to address the problems presented by tons of {{wikipedia}}, {{commons}}, and {{wikisource author}} boxes. In our attempt to hit the 300 article mark before the end of 2008, I created A Christmas Carol, Xenophon, William McKinley. I'm quite active in making sure that the other Wikiquotes link back here,[1][2][3][4][5][6] and I try to illustrate our articles with pictures whenever possible.[7][8]
I'm certainly not new to being an administrator. I'm an admin on the English Wikiquote, English Wikisource, and Commons. I'm also a bureaucrat on the English Wikipedia, Meta, and Wikispecies. I'm very active when it comes to maintaining interwiki links; you can see my global edits at sulutil:EVula (a very long page), or you can just check out my matrix.
Now that I'm starting to get more active here outside of the main article namespace, I'd like to have the additional user rights. On the English Wikiquote, I'm responsible for adding all nine of our gadgets, and I'd like to do some work to bring the two Wikiquotes in sync there. There was also an instance where I needed to edit MediaWiki:Sidebar to fix the accesskey for the New changes link, but instead had to ask AE to do it.
Candidate's acceptance: Boy, how silly would it be if I didn't accept this? EVula // talk // 20:37, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Support – Of course. Good contributer to our site, and has experience as an administrator already in many other projects, so I doubt EVula will do anything wrong. — RyanCross (talk) 05:28, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- I generally don't like it when people make promises in their RfAs, but I think I can guarantee this one. EVula // talk // 16:40, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
